This area has been created to allow the public to identify properties that are eligible for incentives under the Multi-Family Housing Incentives Bylaw No. 8679, 2015.Council wishes to establish a revitalization tax exemption and development cost charges reduction program for multi-family residential development in Primary and Secondary Growth Areas.  Council wishes that the following objectives of the bylaw be known:to encourage multi-family residential development adjacent to downtown that are low-environmental impact and within established growth priority areas with full municipal services, nearby amenities and access to public transit;to create a broader range of housing options, with a particular emphasis in providing an increase in adaptable housing units to allow residents to "age in place"; and,to attract new community investments in the form of multi-family housing; and,to encourage partnerships between non-profit housing organizations and developers.
